Dahlonegah students are participating in a school wide duck hunt! Students are excited to search the school grounds daily for these colorful little ducks! .The class with the most ducks collected on Friday will win a popcorn party! Students who find white or yellow ducks can be turned in for a treat on Friday. Students are encouraged to "be like a duck" by adopting the special duck characteristics. This has been a fun, positive and engaging way to keep students motivated and excited about school. Happy Hunting!

The Southwest Mobile Dairy Classroom Visited Our School Today!
Today, our students enjoyed a special visit from Ms. Suzanne Reece with the Southwest Mobile Dairy Classroom, an interactive educational program that brings the farm right to the schoolyard! The presentation featured a real dairy cow and a knowledgeable instructor who taught students all about the dairy industry — from how cows are milked to how milk makes its way from the farm to our tables.
Students were fascinated to watch a live milking demonstration and learn about the daily care, feeding, and health of dairy cows. They also discovered the important role dairy farmers play in providing nutritious foods that help us grow strong and healthy.
The experience tied in perfectly with our lessons about agriculture, science, and nutrition, helping students make real-world connections in a fun and memorable way. The excitement and curiosity on their faces said it all — this was truly a learning experience they won’t forget!
A big thank-you to the Southwest Mobile Dairy Classroom for bringing such an engaging and educational program to our school!
