Four of our classrooms earned a tremendous honor by winning the Oklahoma Statewide Amira Reading Tailgate Challenge!
Congratulations to Mrs. Braden’s class, Ms. Buchmann’s class, Mrs. Davis’ class, and Mrs. Swepston’s classfor their outstanding dedication to reading and hard work throughout the challenge.
Each of these classrooms will receive a gift card from Amira to host their very own classroom celebration.
We are incredibly proud of our students and teachers for their commitment to literacy and for representing our school so well!
On December 10th, we will have picture retakes and group sports photos. Individual sports photos can be taken, but only with pre-payment. Pre-payment forms will be sent home on Tuesday, December 2nd, and need to be returned by December 8th.
Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful for our students to enjoy the time with their families! Thank you to those who came out and thank you to our wonderful cooks!

The 1st and 2nd grades completed a five week Amira challenge and were rewarded with an ice cream party! Congratulations!
Our own Katie Armstrong was recognized with a certificate for being the best unit director! She has been with Dahlonegah's program since we started and she is wonderful! Congratulations Katie! She does so much for our after school students. She also makes sure they get home safely! Thank you!

The 3rd–8th grade Gifted and Talented students were able to attend the U.S. Marshals Museum in Fort Smith, Arkansas today. Students engaged in hands-on investigations, explored interactive exhibits, and learned about the history and responsibilities of the U.S. Marshals Service. They had the opportunity to participate in immersive activities that deepened their understanding of law enforcement, justice, and historical events. It was an exciting and educational experience that brought learning to life in a meaningful way.

We celebrated our Students of the Month for following Habit 1 in the Leader in Me Program. This habit is being Proactive- Responsible, taking initiative, choosing their actions, attitude and moods and not blaming others for their actions, making good responsible choices without being asked, and when no one was looking! We are so proud of each and every one of you! Enjoy your pizza party!

We launched our Book Buddy program today, and the students loved it! Older students were able to read to the younger ones, making it a fun and meaningful experience for everyone.
Dahlonegah TSA members attended the annual Fall Conference, where they participated in leadership sessions, hands-on activities, and team-building experiences. Congratulations to those who attended, we're proud of you!!!
Dahlonegah students are participating in a school wide duck hunt! Students are excited to search the school grounds daily for these colorful little ducks! .The class with the most ducks collected on Friday will win a popcorn party! Students who find white or yellow ducks can be turned in for a treat on Friday. Students are encouraged to "be like a duck" by adopting the special duck characteristics. This has been a fun, positive and engaging way to keep students motivated and excited about school. Happy Hunting!
