Spring is in the air and state testing is right around the corner! Mena wants to remind our 3rd through 8th graders to eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school, get plenty of rest, limit screen time or phone use to no more than one hour the night before testing and don't be late to school ! The class with perfect attendance during testing will win a special surprise with Mena!
Gifted and talented went to the space and air museum!
The Gifted and Talented student that are on the field trip are expected to arrive back at school before school is out.

Nurse Brewer has added forms under document-nurse and then go to immunization exempt form if your child's immunizations are not up to date. She will be sending the forms home today and we have to have them back by Monday!

Parents of 3rd graders: The online tutoring went very well. We had some that weren't able to stay. Please remember that they will have tutoring again tomorrow so we really need all 3rd grade to stay.
Parents of 3rd graders. Please don't forget that their tutoring session starts today at 3:30. Please don't take your student home after the track meet so they can participate in this. We are so appreciative of Cherokee Nation providing this service to prepare them for State Testing.

We will start the tutoring program tomorrow and Thursday from 3:30-4:30. Please allow your child to stay in afterschool until then. Cherokee Nation has been so kind to provide Varsity Tutors for the class. We really need your child to stay. If for any reason they can't stay, please let Mrs. Bethany or Mrs. Holmes know. They have taken their assessments and are grouped for the virtual tutors.
