Dahlonegah friends and Family, does anyone recognize this van or the grown man hanging out the passenger window? At 2:00 today, as our students were loading busses to go home, the van drove by with this man hanging out of the window yelling and flipping students off. It is very disappointing that our young students witnessed this behavior, especially from an adult. You should be ashamed of your yourself. Anyone with information may call the school at 918-696- 7807. Thank you.

We sent home forms for the Echota Event on 6/20/24. Please fill out and return for your student to attend.

This Friday (6-14-24) is a fun day! Our 5-8th grades will be going to the Jones Center in Fayetteville. Their bus needs to leave by 8:30 so all of our buses will be running early. If you are dropping them off, please drop them off by 8:15-8:30. Please send swimsuits and a towel. They do not need money. American Indians Resources, 21CCLC and Cherokee Nation are providing everything.
Pre-K through 4th grade, we will have a bouncy house with water on the playground set up. Please send swimsuits and towels. We will also have a bouncy house on the Pre-K playground set up. We have sunscreen but if you prefer a certain kind please send with your child.

Parents of 5-8th grade (if they are going into 5th grade). Their field trip on Friday (June 14th) is to the Jones Center in Fayetteville, AR. They will be swimming. They will need to leave school at 8:30-8:45 if possible. So, the buses may need to run a little early. They will take breakfast with them. They will arrive at the Jones Center to swim from 10:00-12:00. They will stop and eat somewhere and be back by 2:00 when the buses run. Make sure to send them with towels and swimsuits!

Parents we would like to make this an extra field trip. It's free to 8-18 year olds. You will need to register them by going to the QR code. We will have a bus that will take them to school and bring them back. It may be a late return so you may need to pick them up at school. When you register them please email me a copy of your confirmation so I will know who to send. Please send to: sholmes@dahlonegah.k12.ok. us
